Impact Clyne played both as a center-back and right-back under new manager Oliver Glasner, and did well. Clyne's contract expires at the end of the season, though he's reportedly still negotiating with the club. Even if Clyne is brought back it would likely be in more of a depth role.

Impact Edouard was a starter earlier in the season, but under new manager Oliver Glasner he fell entirely out of favor. There's still a path to playing time for Edouard if he can impress in pre-season, but Jean-Philippe Mateta is certainly in pole position for the top job at the moment.

Impact Mateta closed the season with bang, burying his first hat trick to cap off an incredible scoring streak, as he racked up 13 goals through the final 13 league games. This also marked the third time in the last six outings that he recorded at least three shots on target. After coming off the bench for most of the first half of the season, Mateta started in the final 22 games, delivering a total of 15 goals scored and 22 chances created.
