Malcolm Ebiowei - Transfers to Palace Ebiowei has signed a five-year contract with Crystal Palace after transferring from Derby County, the club announced Sunday.
Impact Ebiowei tallied a goal and two assists in 16 Championship appearances with Derby County last season, primarily from the right wing. The 18-year-old has now signed with Crystal Palace through the 2026/27 campaign, although he is likely to be sent back on-loan to the Championship for now in order to continue gaining experience.

Impact McArthur is still a valuable player to Palace's midfield after getting 15 starts this past season despite being injured for more than three months in the middle of the campaign. He may not see as much time as a few years ago, but he'll still be used and as of this contract, it's still unknown who will be in Palace's midfield as Conor Gallagher was on loan last season.

Impact Clyne was a trialist before the season two years ago and he's turned that into 28 league starts the last two campaigns after being in bit of a limbo. He started the final 14 matches of the campaign this past season, but it's a wonder if Palace will sign someone else to take up that role, as Joel Ward is the other option at right-back.

He's been at the club for six seasons, but given the minutes he received under Patrick Vieira, there's a chance he stays another year or two at the club, depending who else they add over the summer.

Impact Milivojevic lost any kind of role under Patrick Vieira and he's likely on his way out from the club unless he's fine seeing limited appearances. As has been the case in recent seasons, all of his fantasy value comes from set pieces, but the days of him scoring double-digit goals with penalty kicks are long gone (he scored 12 goals in 2018/19).

Cheikhou Kouyate - Struggles for minutes down stretch Kouyate struggled to find consistent minutes since returning from AFCON and finished with 52 tackles and 38 interceptions in 27 league appearances (23 starts).
Impact Kouyate was the go-to midfielder in the first half of the season, but that role disappeared late, as he only managed one start in the final six matches. He still seems to have the starting role locked down heading into the next campaign but another addition could change things. No matter, he's a true defensive midfielder and rarely gets up the field.

Will Hughes - Sees limited time with Palace Hughes had one assist, nine chances created and 35 crosses (23 corners) in 16 league appearances (13 starts) this past season.
Impact Hughes had a run of starts in the middle of the campaign, but he was often on the bench more than anything and he didn't see minutes until late November. There's a chance he has a bigger role in the future, but he's in a more defensive role which doesn't produce fantasy numbers, so his future doesn't look overly bright in terms of score-sheet appearances.

Jean-Philippe Mateta - Sees more time in second half Mateta finished with five goals and one assist from 37 shots and seven chances created in 22 league appearances (13 starts) last season.
Impact Mateta saw about the same amount of time this season as he had at Mainz the prior couple campaigns, but more importantly he was often the starter in the second half of the season. That's a positive take away for the striker, who managed just one start until the calendar turned to 2022. He figures to fight for time with Odsonne Edouard next season, while Christian Benteke is possibly set for an exit.

Impact Edouard moved in and out of the starting XI this season, though he only made three starts in the final few months. There's a chance he sees more time next season if Christian Benteke isn't around to steal time, though he'll still have to compete with Jean-Philippe Mateta for minutes up top, something that could see him repeat his numbers from 2021/22.

Impact Ayew almost matched exactly his numbers from a season ago, though he bagged two more goals and crossed in a bunch more balls. Unfortunately, his time at the club could be coming to a close with youngsters such as Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze moving into the squad. If it weren't for injuries to both of them, Ayew may have seen less time than he was given.

Christian Benteke - Time diminishes in 2021/22 Benteke scored four goals and assisted once from 39 shots and 13 chances created in 25 league appearances (11 starts) this past season.
Impact Benteke appeared in 25 matches, but he all but lost his role in the second half of the campaign, appearing in just four of the final 16 matches. Patrick Vieira clearly wasn't impressed with the forward in the first half and that eventually led to Odsonne Edouard and Jean-Philippe Mateta getting more minutes late in the season.

Tyrick Mitchell - Starts 35 matches Mitchell started 35 matches at left-back, finishing with two assists, 21 chances created, 62 crosses and 104 tackles with 10 clean sheets.
Impact Mitchell didn't get up the field a ton from full-back, but he never let go of the starting job under Patrick Vieira, which is most important. Combined with the center-back pairing of Joachim Andersen and Marc Guehi, Mitchell was another piece on the back line who fit just right this season for Palace in what was a mostly successful campaign.
