Extends contract as Designated Player Gazdag has signed a three-year contract extension as a with the Union with the option to further extend for an additional season, the club announced Wednesday.

Impact Gazdag had a breakout season as one of the best players in MLS in 2022, tallying 24 goals and six assists from attacking midfield as he led Philadelphia to the top seed in the Eastern Conference from the regular season and winning the conference Championship in the playoffs. The 26-year-old has now signed on with the club through the 2025 campaign at least, and he's also become a Designated Player in the side.
