Picks up nasty injury Potts is set for an extended spell on the sideline after picking up a nasty hamstring injury, according to manager Rob Edwards.

Impact Potts has yet to make his debut in the 2023/24 campaign and has only gone unused on the bench occasionally. The defender will now likely spend a large portion of the final months of the season on the sideline. It's even possible this is a season-ending concern for Potts.

Impact Potts is making his first appearance on the team sheet all season, having finally recovered from an ankle injury that he encountered in early September. The defender will hope to gain a starting spot soon, as last season in the Championship, he notched 24 starts in his 26 appearances. He could come into the starting XI for the club's next match against Brighton on Jan. 30, but that may be too soon for the player after such a long absence.

Impact Potts has yet to make an appearance this season due to a nagging ankle injury, so seeing him in training is certainly a step in the right direction. His earliest chance to return in league play will come against Burnley on Jan. 15, though his involvement in training will ultimately determine whether he's ready to take part in competitive action or not.
