Impact Rios scored six MLS goals during his two seasons in Nashville, but the 27-year-old was never able to lock down a spot in the starting lineup. He now moves to another expansion team in Charlotte, where he will compete with Karol Swiderski for the forward spot this campaign.

Impact Rios picked up an ankle issue in October of 2021 and looks to be on track for the start of the 2022 campaign. He only started in five of his 12 appearances last season and will hope for a bigger role if he can recreate his five-goal form from 2020.
