Option picked up Romney's option for 2025 was picked up, he told reporters Wednesday.

Impact Romney was the cornerstone of the New England defense in a tough 2024 season. Despite the disappointing results, it was clear he's still a top defender, and it's not a surprise his contract was picked up. Romney made 27 appearances (24 starts) in the regular season and will be back to marshal the backline in 2025.
