Lukas MacNaughton - Traded to D.C. United MacNaughton was acquired by D.C. United in exchange for $150,000 in 2025 General Allocation Money (GAM) and will join the club from Nashville SC, the club announced.
Impact MacNaughton has signed a contract through 2025. "We're excited to welcome him to the team and bolster our defensive depth ahead of the 2025 season," said D.C. United General Manager and Chief Soccer Officer Ally Mackay. The defender has appeared in 50 MLS matches over three seasons, including six with Nashville last season. He managed four shots and created one chance in those six games, showcasing his ability to contribute offensively as a defender. Additionally, he averaged six clearances per game, highlighting his defensive reliability. MacNaughton will provide valuable depth to D.C. United's backline.

Impact Barraza is off to D.C. where he will immediately slot in at the top of the depth chart, at least at the moment, long-term that could change. The goalkeeper played a large role for NYC FC in 2023, making 24 starts and keeping four clean sheets. In 2024 he was back as a backup option. With D.C. he will at the very least have some pre-season competition for the starting job, as D.C. are linked to multiple goalkeeper transfers.
