Available off bench Rubio (hamstring) is on the bench for Saturday's game against the Galaxy.

Impact Rubio recovered quicker than expected and will be available off the bench to add depth in the attack. He shouldn't have a lot of upside, however, as he'll likely remain a bench option behind the striker duo of Brandon Vazquez and Myrto Uzuni.

Impact Rubio is set to miss most of the month of April following his hamstring injury. Since starting just once in five appearances, his absence wont play much of an impact for his form as he has struggled to maintain consistent playing time with Austin.

Signs contract extension Austin have signed Rubio to a contract extension until the end of the 2025 MLS season, with an option for 2026, on Thursday.

Impact Rubio had an underwhelming debut season with Austin, notching just four goals across 33 appearances (23 starts). His 16-goal season with the Rapids in 2022 seems to be in distant memory now, but the Chilean could be primed to have a regular role with Austin in 2025 if the club doesn't bolster its attacking depth.
