Impact Luiz has just completed his fifth season with Villa, still having yet to let up his starting role in the middle of the pack. He reached new heights this season, as he is primarily known for his defending attributes but found a new notch in the attack, with his 14-goal contributions being a career-high. However, he was still prominent in the defense, registering 17 clearances, 23 interceptions and 58 tackles, serving as one of the better-holding midfielders in the league. He only signed a new long-term deal with the club in 2022 but is still being pursued by multiple clubs, with Arsenal leading the push once again this offseason. Although, he will likely remain with the club, as the club is heading into a UCL season, and manager Unai Emery will not want to lose the centerpiece of his midfield.
