Set to return Segura is set to return to LAFC after his contract option for 2025 was picked up.

Impact Segura will be back with LAFC, though likely primarily as a depth option, as he's been for the last three years. The defender has been rock solid as a backup, and option off the bench, totaling 28 appearances in 2024.

Scores own goal Segura registered an own goal and two clearances in Sunday's 3-0 loss to Vancouver Whitecaps FC. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 88th minute.

Impact Segura got on the scoresheet in the worst way possible with an own goal during Sunday's loss. It's a tough turn as this now means LAFC have to head back home for the third and final match of the opening round. Segura will hope for a far more composed match there as he looks to avoid an opening round exit.

Impact Segura was benched for the first time since late August, but made his 29 minutes on the pitch count grabbing an assist to Aaron Long's 69th minute goal. This is his first assist in the MLS this year too. He also played 23 accurate passes as well.
