The extent of his injury is still unknown, although it doesn't appear to be good to start, with him missing at least some time due to the issues. Luckily for the club, he doesn't look to be a player who will take over starting time, so this shouldn't be the biggest loss. However, they will still look to keep depth around, hoping his issues are more minor than they appear.
