Won't be available Saturday Copetti has permission to be away from the club this weekend, and he won't be available to face Nashville on Saturday, Will Palaszczuk of WFNZ reports.

Impact Copetti is being linked with a move back to Argentina, as Rosario Central are believed to be in the final stages of completing a move for him, and the player presumably won't be available Saturday due to the status of the potential transfer. Copetti scored in his previous appearance for Charlotte, and that was his first goal of the campaign across nine outings (six starts) in 2024. It remains to be seen if Copetti will be available to face Chicago on May 15.

Scores off bench versus Portland Copetti scored a goal off his lone shot after coming off the bench during Saturday's 2-0 win over Portland.

Impact Copetti was brought in the 77th minute to replace Patrick Agyemang and, when it looked like the striker would leave the pitch with another disappointing performance, he was finally able to show what he's capable of, sealing the 2-0 win with a clinical finish after intercepting a throw-in and making a great run. Recovering faster than expected Copetti (thigh) is recovering faster than expected, but he won't be available to face Columbus on Saturday, head coach Dean Smith told Caleb Adams of The Sporting News on Thursday.

Impact Copetti was spotted running on the grass Thursday, and while he won't be ready to take on the reigning MLS champions, Smith acknowledged the striker has recovered faster than anyone could've imagined. As such, he should be in contention to face Cincinnati on March 30. Expect Patrick Agyemang to start as a striker against the Crew.

Impact Copetti has not had the best year since moving to the states from Argentina in 2024. Copetti also struggled with injuries in his first year wit Charlotte, and is now set for another long absence. Patrick Agyemang could get the start to start up top after making two appearances off the bench.
