Unused during loss Miller was an unused option during Saturday's 2-0 loss to Columbus.

Impact Miller had been dealing with an illness, which prevented him from getting time on the pitch Saturday. He's seen his starting left back role being taken away by Claudio Bravo, having come off the bench his previous three appearances. He does have a goal and an assist in 10 appearances, seven of them coming as starts.

Impact Miller is questionable Saturday as he struggles with an illness. The fact he's a late addition to the injury report is certainly a concern, but the hope will be he can recover from the illness in time for Saturday's match.

Impact Miller, who had failed to find the net in all eight of his previous seasons, struck home from a rebound, completing an unlikely comeback. The left-back has never attempted more than three shots in a season, but has already managed two this year.

Impact Miller assisted Santiago Moreno in the 61st minute -- his first assist in the new campaign. The left-back has only two overall assists in his last seven seasons, so nobody should expect him to create a lot of chances in 2024.

Impact Miller lands back with Portland after his original contract option was declined. The defender played a more depth role in 2023 but clearly showed enough to earn a longer-term deal with the club for 2024 and 2025.

Impact Miller's contract option was picked up for 2024, so he will be back with the Timbers. The defender was more of a depth option than anything else but his ability to play on either side of the defense is valuable. Impact Miller sent in four crosses while filling the defensive side of the stat sheet during Sunday's loss. The right-back hasn't been overly creative with no assists yet in 2022 and a career-high of just one assist in 2021. Miller is a defense-first right-back which has largely limited his upside though these four crosses represent the second highest tally he's found in the 2022 campaign. Next up is a Saturday trip to Cincinnati.

He's still looking for his first major offensive contribution of the campaign though and Nashville rarely keep shutouts.
