Out for season with torn ACL Williamson (knee) is expected to miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on a torn ACL this week, the Timbers announced Tuesday. Impact Williamson had started each of Portland's first six games of the campaign and has recorded six MLS assists dating back to the start of the last campaign, but the 25-year-old is now set for a season-ending surgery after suffering his second torn ACL (this time on the other leg) in the last 20 months. Diego Chara will have to step up in defensive midfield in Williamson's absence, with Santiago Moreno, Cristhian Paredes (knee), David Ayala, Yimmi Chara (hamstring) and Evander all available to deputize in the position as well.
