Pietro Comuzzo adapted to the role in relief, while Niccolo Pierozzi manned it later on. Neither of the two youngsters has played much so far. They could also field Fabiano Parisi and Cristiano Biraghi (lower leg) together if the latter recovered.

Michael Kayode - Forced off earlyKayode was forced off with an apparent injury just 10 minutes into Thursday's clash with Cukaricki.

ImpactKayode lasted 10 minutes before going down holding his leg and asking to be subbed off. The nature of the injury isn't clear but it was evident immediately that the defender couldn't carry on. Kayode signed a new long-term extension Wednesday, and still figured to be part of the plans moving forward when fit. In the meantime Pietro Comuzzo could see more opportunities depending on the severity of Kayode's injury.
