Seamus Coleman - Unlikely to return this season Coleman has "ligament" damage in his knee and is "unlikely" to return this season, according to manager Sean Dyche. Impact This isn't too surprising for Coleman, who likely suffered some kind of knee sprain even if it didn't damage his ACL. He's on the last year of his latest contract with Everton, so a decision will have to be made on his future. He's good to have around as a veteran, but coming off another knee injury and on the verge of turning 35, his time at the club may be over with Nathan Patterson waiting to takeover. Even though Patterson opened the season as the starter, he eventually got hurt and Dyche has preferred Coleman at right-back of late resulting in another 20-start campaign for Coleman.
