Nathan Patterson - Not mentioned in injury updates Patterson (knee) was left off manager Sean Dyche's injury report in the leadup to Saturday's trip to Manchester United.

Impact Patterson was seemingly ready to return after making a pair of substitute appearances for Scotland during the international break but once again found himself watching from the sidelines. Considering Patterson has been out of action for Everton since Jan. 3 versus Brighton, he may be hard-pressed to unseat team captain Seamus Coleman from the right-back spot in the starting XI.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin - Beginning pitch work Calvert-Lewin (hamstring) is "back on the grass" according to manager Sean Dyche but wasn't training with the team ahead of Saturday's matchup with Manchester United.

Impact Calvert-Lewin is reportedly progressing in his recovery but doesn't appear to be getting any closer to actually playing for the Toffees. Demarai Gray has been featuring in Calvert-Lewin's spot at the top of the Everton attack but with Abdoulaye Doucoure suspended, Dyche may have to pivot to using Neal Maupay or Ellis Simms up top. If Calvert-Lewin can ever get healthy, he should be in the mix for regular appearances in the starting XI.

Ruben Vinagre - Resumes training after Achilles injury Vinagre (Achilles) is back training ahead of Saturday's matchup with Manchester United.

Impact Vinagre has been left out of the squad for Everton's previous three contests, which could be related to his Achilles issue. Even prior to that, the defender was an unused substitute more often than not, making just two substitute appearances this year. In total Vinagre has seen 24 minutes of Premier League action in which he registered two crosses (zero accurate), two tackles (two won) and one clearance. Even once cleared to play, Vinagre won't be breaking into the starting XI any time soon and figures to remain a fringe member of the squad.

Impact Pickford did not make a save Monday for just the second time this season (Feb. 18 versus Leeds). Abdoulaye Doucoure - Sees red Monday Doucoure was shown a straight red card for a tackle on Harry Kane during the second half of Monday's clash with Tottenham and will now be suspended for three matches.

Impact Doucoure had an absolute moment of madness Monday, going for a violent tackle that saw him hit Harry Kane in the face and be sent off immediately. The midfielder will be suspended for three matches minimum due to the violent nature of the foul. Doucoure's first chance to return will be an April 27 clash with Newcastle.

Impact It's been a waiting game with Calvert-Lewin the past couple months, and basically the last two seasons. After posting 16 goals in the 2020/21 campaign, he's been relegated to the sidelines because of constant injuries and at this point, it doesn't sound like he'll be ready for major minutes for another few weeks.
