Extends contract with Koln Kainz has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract extension with FC Koln, the club announced Wednesday.

Impact Kainz wracked up nine goals and 10 assists across two healthy seasons in the Bundesliga with Koln -- he missed most of 2020/21 with a knee injury -- and he's on pace for his best one yet now with five goals and four assists in 14 games (13 starts) in this campaign. The 30-year-old can play both in midfield and on the left wing and he has now signed on with the club through 2024/25.
