Signs with Miami Negri has completed a transfer to San Diego out of free agency, according to his new club.

Impact Negri has left Miami to join new MLS side San Deigo, linking up with the team out of free agency on a one-year contract. He started in nine of his 11 appearances, not seeing much time in a loaded Miami roster and only seeing one assist in his 791 minutes of play. However, he is joining a team that will have to find an identity immediately, and seeing he is a veteran with MLS experience, he should see an increased role with his new club.

Torn ACL confirmed Negri will miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL in last weekend's defeat against the Union, Inter Miami announced Tuesday.

Impact Negri tallied one goal one assist and one clean sheet in 16 appearances (all starts) during his debut campaign in MLS as he quickly broke into Miami's preferred lineup at left-back after transferring from Godoy Cruz in January. Unfortunately, he now becomes the latest player at the club to suffer a significant injury as he's set to undergo a season-ending surgery to repair his torn ACL. Christopher McVey and Noah Allen could both replace him at left-back, while Nicolas Stefanelli, Robert Taylor and Robbie Robinson are options for other formations where it's more of a left wing-back.
