Loaned to Mainz Vidovic has joined Mainz on a season-long loan deal from Bayern Munich, his parent club announced Friday.

Impact Vidovic was buried in Bayern Munich's depth chart and was not expected to sniff minutes for Vincent Kompany's side, but he'll have a better chance of seeing the field with Mainz. Vidovic is slated to return to Bayern in the summer of 2025.

Returns to Germany Vidovic has ended his loan stay with Dinamo Zagreb and will return to Bayern Munich ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Impact Vidovic was loaned out to Croatia for the 2023/24 season, totaling nine goals in 40 appearances with the side. He also made it to the quarterfinals of the Europa Conference League before being knocked out by PAOK, while also finishing the HNL league in first place and winning the title with the side.

Loaned to Dinamo Zagreb Vidovic will be sent to another loan, this time to Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb from Bayern Munich for the remainder of the season.

Impact Vidovic has been with the Bayern Munich organization since 2016, making just four senior appearances. He spent last season with Dutch side Vitesse, making 25 appearances while scoring four goals. The forward will now play for SuperSport HNL champions Dinamo Zagreb in Croatian for the rest of the season.
