Impact Haraguchi's role fell to essentially nothing during what was supposed to be his first full season in Stuttgart. The midfielder was fit throughout the season but simply wasn't called upon. With this minor role it's more likely than not he's given the chance to move on in the summer window.

Transfers to Stuttgart Haraguchi has signed an 18-month contract with VfB Stuttgart after transferring from Union Berlin, the club announced Monday.

Impact Haraguchi scored two goals with six assists across 41 Bundesliga appearances (29 starts) during his season-and-a-half stint with Union Berlin, but his role was clearly decreasing in this campaign. The 31-year-old midfielder is now moving to Stuttgart, where he could push to once again become a consistent starter in the league.
