Impact Mayoral and Getafe just took a huge blow for the end of their season, as their main striker will now be out for possibly the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery. The forward has started in all but two matches this season, having a crucial impact on the club with his 16 goal contributions, but now will miss anywhere from two to three months of action due to the surgery. That would leave the forward with about a month of the season left if he returns as soon as possible, although if he faces any setbacks at all, he most likely will miss the rest of the season with the injury. Expect Juanmi Latasa to replace Mayoral in the starting XI while he is out, as the club will await the results of his surgery and hope to see the player on the field again this campaign.
