Aleix Garcia - Out for 5-6 weeks Garcia has been diagnosed an injury to the femoral biceps tendon in his left leg suffered on Monday and is expected to miss 5-6 weeks, the team confirms.

Impact This comes as unfortunate news for Garcia, who has not missed a match this season as a regular starter. He has been the key play maker for Girona, totaling five assists, 161 crosses (63 accurate) and 63 chances created. The midfielder is currently the league leader in both crosses and chances created while totaling career highs in both categories. Either Ivan Martin or Valery will likely take his spot in the midfield in his absence.

Impact Gazzaniga had a decent performance Monday, as he made three saves and conceded just one goal. The goal he conceded came in the 91st minute though, as a deflected corner found Alvaro Morata wide open at the back post, something Gazzaniga could not have done much about. He has kept just one clean sheet in 15 matches this season which is not ideal, but he has conceded exactly one goal in eight matches so he does not get beaten badly often.
