Scores opener in win Guillamon scored a goal off his lone shot, made two tackles (one won), two clearances and two interceptions and was shown a yellow card during Saturday's 2-0 win over Villarreal.

Impact Guillamon did a decent job on the defensive end, but this time his biggest contribution came on attack, as he stepped into the box and beautifully chipped the ball over the goalkeeper to open the scoring in the 43rd minute. This was his first goal of the season, but we shouldn't expect much more offensive contributions from the holding midfielder moving forward. Up next for Guillamon is Nov. 7 home clash against reigning champs Atletico Madrid.

Sent off quickly Guillamon was sent off with a straight red card after three minutes of Friday's match against Getafe.

Impact It only took three minutes into the La Liga season to see a dismissal as Guillamon managed to tackle an opponent with his studs too high not to be caught on VAR. So long as Uros Racic is healthy by the following match against Getafe, there won't be many issues filling Guillamon's spot in midfield until his return by the Aug. 27 match against Deportivo Alaves.

Makes nine clearances in draw Guillamon made nine clearances, suffered four fouls and helped his side to keep a clean sheet during Saturday's scoreless draw against Huesca.

Impact Guillamon once again led Valencia's defense, racking up at least nine clearances for the third time over the last four matches and being key for his side to withstand some stretches of heavy pressure during the second half. The youngster finished the season with one goal, 102 clearances and five clean sheets over 25 appearances (21 starts).
