ImpactWilson has completed the operation on his back, with the striker receiving an injection to relieve pain in his back. However, he will now miss the first few games of the season, likely returning sometime in September. This continues to build up his injury problems from the last couple of seasons, having missed 25 games last campaign. Luckily for the club, Alexander Isak is expected to be their starter up top, so Wilson's absence shouldn't be a major issue, although they will want him back as quickly as possible for a depth option.
