Impact Toney was unable to earn a goal in a third straight match Monday but still contributed decently in the loss, taking two shots while performing four crosses. Impact Toney was finally able to make his season debut after serving his eight-month ban and couldn't ask for a better comeback. In the 19th minute, the striker scored Brentford's first goal with a classy free-kick shot. For a player who was sidelined for so much time, Toney moved very well with and without the ball, created for teammates and even provided defensive help on set pieces. After this performance, it will be hard not envisioning Toney as a starter up front during the rest of the campaign.
