Suffers knee injury Bednarek has suffered a knee injury while with Poland and is expected to miss the next three weeks of action, according to his team.

Impact Bednarek is heading for the sidelines for a portion of time, with the defender suffering from what appears to be a knee issue. This will force him to miss time, which is a brutal blow for the Saints starting defender. Kyle Walker-Peters will likely move back to the center of the defense while Yukinari Sugawara reenters the starting XI at right-back as Bednarek waits on his return, probably coming around the start of December.

Impact Bednarek was rock-solid at the heart of the defense for the Saints as he dominated opposing forwards on the ground and in aerial plays and his only foul committed was a much-needed one as he prevent Beto from being in a breakaway situation against the goalkeeper. With 30 clearances, five interceptions and five blocks over his last four starts, the center-back is one of EPL's players with most fantasy upside.

Impact Bednarek has no intention of leaving the Saints anytime soon, with the defender having just extended his stay with the club for an additional three seasons. That said, he is likely to remain in that role throughout the rest of his contract, still only 28.
