Impact Niezgoda's season is over after the ACL tear suffered during the Leagues Cup break. The striker will face an uphill battle to be fit for the first half of 2024 as well depending on his recovery process and potential surgery.

Another shot off bench Niezgoda subbed into Saturday's match against Austin FC in the 78th minute and he took a shot in the 2-2 draw.

Impact Niezgoda has come off the bench in seven consecutive MLS games for Portland, with his last start in the competition coming back in mid-March. But he's been more effective as a substitute as he's averaging a shot every 30 minutes of playing time, and he scored his first goal of the campaign against Seattle on April 15.
