Impact Diaz's header gave Minnesota their second goal Saturday as they earned a hard-fought 3-3 (10-9) victory over Seattle. In additon to his timely goal, the defender contributed one tackle (one won), three interceptions and four clearances to the defensive effort across his 84 minutes of play. Over 30 appearances (27 starts), the defender has set new career-best marks in a single MLS season for appearances, starts, goals, assists, tackles, interceptions, clearances and blocks.

Impact Diaz set a season high with three shots in the match. However, he has not had a shot on target in 10 consecutive games. Nonetheless, he gave a solid defensive effort with two interceptions, and he racked up over 25 completed passes for the ninth time in 25 appearances this season.
