In additon to his timely goal, the defender contributed one tackle (one won), three interceptions and four clearances to the defensive effort across his 84 minutes of play. Over 30 appearances (27 starts), the defender has set new career-best marks in a single MLS season for appearances, starts, goals, assists, tackles, interceptions, clearances and blocks.
