Returns off bench
Delgado (knee) appeared off the bench in the 89th minute of Saturday's 4-3 win against D.C. United.
Impact
Delgado made an unexpected return Saturday, with the midfielder getting on the field for a mere one minute in the win. This is still great news for the club, as he should be considered fit now. He has started in 12 of his 18 appearances this season and has a decent shot of re-entering the starting XI next contest.

Set for month out
Delgado (undisclosed) could miss up to a month with an injury, according to manager Peter Luccin.
Impact
Delgado is another one who suffered an injury during a 3-2 loss to Seattle, and losing Delgado is a particularly tough blow, as he scored and assisted in that clash. The midfielder has been a constant in the starting XI and could be tough to replace while he spends two-to-four weeks on the sideline.

Two goal contributions
Delgado scored one goal and assisted once from one shot and two chances created in Saturday's 3-2 defeat against Seattle Sounders FC.

He would later showcase his crisp, accurate passing ability by assisting Dallas's second goal with a quick exchange at the top of the box. Scores in draw
Delgado scored a goal off three shots (two on target), created two chances and drew three fouls during Saturday's 3-3 draw against Real Salt Lake.
Impact
Delgado was already having a nice outing during the first half and then things got even better for him in the 57th minute, when the opposing goalkeeper miscalculated a clearance attempt near the midfield and let the net completely empty for the playmaker to send the ball home and double his side's lead. This was the first goal of the season for Delgado, who will hope to establish himself as a regular starter moving forward.

Sent on loan to Dallas
Delgado has been sent on loan to join FC Dallas for the 2024 season from Ecuadorian side Independiente del Valle, his new club announced Thursday.
Impact
Delgado will be spending the next season away from his home country, having been sent to FC Dallas to further his development away from his parent club. While in Ecuador this past season, the midfielder only managed to make six appearances and will hope to gain more time on the pitch in the MLS. At the young age of 20, it is unsure what his use will be within the team heading into the season, but he should be figured to get decent time after the team acquired him for just one season.
