He picked up a yellow card in the 20th minute, lost all eight of his duels, and was dribbled past five times. Aramburu had played the full 90 minutes in each of Sociedad's previous two matches, but was pulled in the 61st minute on Saturday. The Venezuelan right back will hope to regain his form as Sociedad take on Jove Espanol on Thursday, November 21.

Extends contract Aramburu has agreed to an extension with Real Sociedad, the club announced Thursday.

Impact Aramburu will be continuing his stay with Real Sociedad for a couple more seasons, as he has agreed to an extension until the end of the 2026/27 season. He served in much more of a reserve role this season, only starting in five of his 12 appearances, likely seeing more time throughout the rest of his time with the club following the extension.
