Extends contract by 10 years Moncayola signed a 10-year contract extension with Osasuna on Tuesday.
Impact The length of the contract is a little misleading in comparison to a 22 million euro release clause, but Moncayola has still done well to earn such a long deal from his boyhood club. Through primarily a defensive midfielder, his offensive contributions have progressed to the point where he scored two goals and made 61 tackles in 36 games this season. At this point, he still has a little ways to go before his potential becomes legitimate production.
