Impact Gvardiol had a slightly underwhelming start to his season as he tried to get integrated with his new club but quickly changed that as the season progressed, as he became one of the club's best defenders while also adding some production in the attack, scoring all four of his goals in the final 10 appearances of the campaign. Only being his first season with the club, he still has a lot to improve on and should come in as a regular starter again next season, likely being an even bigger threat to opposing teams. He still has some work to do defending in the faster-paced Premier League, but he can easily counter that with his presence in the attacking end of the field, registering 18 chances created, 33 crosses and 32 shots.
