Impact Firpo never nailed down a spot at Barcelona, making only 24 and 10 appearances (14 and four starts) in La Liga and the Champions League, respectively, in his two seasons in red and blue. But the 24-year-old will be eager to prove he is still the player who showed so much promise at Real Betis a few years ago. He will likely battle Ezgjan Alioski for the starting left back spot or possibly Luke Aylingat right back, but don't be surprised if manager Marcelo Bielsa tries to experiment with pushing Firpo farther up into midfield as well.
