Working on new contract Meram is out of contract and is in discussions over a new deal with Charlotte FC.

Impact Meram joined the team from Salt Lake in April, making 13 starts in 26 appearances. With Charlotte, he scored four goals and three assists while logging in 71 crosses (16 accurate) and 24 chances created. He has become a veteran to the league and at the age of 34, the winger could finish his career in the MLS.

Picks up yellow card as sub Meram generated one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 1-0 win against Inter Miami CF. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 88th minute.

Impact Meram subbed on in the 67th minute and could not do much during Charlotte's home win. The midfielder did receive his fourth yellow card of the season in the proccess. He logged his third straight appearance off bench after three consecutive starts before.

Impact Meram got his first assist with Charlotte since being traded from Real Salt Lake last month. Impact Meram tallied eight goals and 16 assists across 95 MLS appearances (57 starts) since joining RSL in February 2020, but he peaked last season and had fallen back to more of a bench role for the team in this campaign. The 34-year-old MLS veteran is now moving to Charlotte, where he can provide cover for Kerwin Vargas and Kamil Jozwiak on the left wing.
