Set for ankle surgery Njinmah is set to undergo surgery on his ankle, the club confirmed Wednesday. Impact Njinmah has been dealing with an issue since before the international break, picking up an ankle injury in the March 16 match against Union Berlin, then appearing to aggravate it while increasing his load in training, now forcing him to undergo surgery. This will leave the forward in serious doubt for a return this season, as he will now be set to be out for around two to three months, with only two months left in the season. Unfortunately, this will cause some changes for the club, as he has started in nine of the club's past 11 games despite a reserve role to begin the season, with Nick Woltemade being his most likely replacement in the starting XI while he is out.
