Snaps hamstring in final De Bruyne "snapped" his hamstring in Saturday's UCL final against Inter Milan, he told Evening Standard after the match. "I had a lot of issues with my hamstring. It snapped. It is... Impact De Bruyne had apparently been dealing with a bad hamstring the final two months of the season, likely since he missed back-to-back league matches at the end of April. Then again, he also went 174 minutes in the two legs against Real Madrid. Either way, he'll get a couple months to celebrate the treble, as well as rest and recover ahead of the new season. Depending on the severity of the injury, there's a slight chance De Bruyne won't be 100 percent by the start of next season, though that won't be determined until the pre-season. He closes 2022/23 with seven goals and 16 assists in league play and then another two goals in six assists in Champions League action.
