Set to return Franklin is returning to Toronto after his contract option for 2025 was picked up.

Impact Franklin played a minor role during his third season with Toronto, starting just five times but making 21 appearances. The defender's role dwindling evidently wasn't a big enough concern for the club to drop him, as instead he's now had his contract extended with an option. He will likely remain a depth option going forward.
