In talks to sign new deal Smith is in talks to extend his contract with Orlando City SC after his current deal expired at the end of the 2024 MLS season, the club announced.

Impact Smith alternated between the starting lineup and the bench all season long. Even though he appeared in each of Orlando's 34 regular-season contests, he was part of the starting lineup just 12 times. He recorded 38 clearances, 23 tackles and 10 interceptions while adding one assist, 23 crosses and nine chances created.
