Out for "long term" Walker-Peters will be out for "the long term" after suffering a hamstring injury Wednesday, according to manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Impact Hasenhuttl was hopeful when he thought Walker-Peters was suffering from a cramp Wednesday and now it looks like his right-back will be out until the World Cup. It's a tough injury for a team struggling to find form, especially on the back line. His replacement could be an ongoing thing with Lyanco being an option, as well as youngster Juan Larios. It's hard to see James Ward-Prowse moving there given Southampton's struggles in the midfield.
