Iker Munoz - Suffers fractured footMunoz has suffered a fractured fifth metatarsal in his left foot and will be out for at least the next two months, according to his club.

ImpactMunoz went down Saturday with an injury that had yet to be diagnosed, with it now being known he suffered a fracture in his foot. He has appeared in both matches thus far, getting the start in one, so this will be a somewhat significant loss as he is a decent rotational player in the midfield. His absence will likely grant Bryan Zaragoza and Jon Moncayola more time, with a return probably coming around November or December.

ImpactMoncayola played his part at both ends of the field Saturday. Defensively he engaged in five tackles and executed an interception and two clearances. He also managed to fire two shots at goal which were off target. The 26-year-old contributed three assists and a goal over the 2023-24 season. He does have a direct style of playing which accrued him a red card last season and he picked up a yellow in Osasuna's last match.

ImpactCosta put in a balanced performance Saturday, the midfielder fired two attempts at goal, which were blocked, and defensively executed six clearances, two interceptions and two tackles. The Portuguese midfielder only posted one goal and an assist during the 2023-24 season from 34 appearances, his primary contribution is usually in a holding versus attacking role.

ImpactOroz was Osasuna's most dangerous attacker Saturday firing five shots at goal. He was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet when one of his attempts struck the woodwork. He was subbed after 79 minutes. The exciting Spanish U23 international is maturing, he created an assist over the summer during the Olympics and is destined to improve on his single assist and no goals from 33 appearances last season.

Ruben Garcia - Nets winner against MallorcaGarcia scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), three crosses (zero accurate) and three corners in Saturday's 1-0 win over Mallorca.

ImpactGarcia worked the attacking right flank Saturday scoring from his only shot on target, a goalmouth scramble that he managed to convert over the line. It was his first strike of the season. He was subbed after 71 minutes. The 31-year-old did not have a distinguishing 2023-24 campaign, he found the net just three times from 30 appearances (19 starts). Hopefully this goal, and the overall strong performance he exhibited in this game, will bode well for a better 2024-25.
