Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - Dealing with tight calf Dewsbury-Hall is dealing with a tight calf and is a doubt for Saturday's FA Cup match, according to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Impact Dewsbury-Hall was brought into the starting XI the last five matches out of necessity and now he has an injury. There's a chance he's rested Saturday so he's 100 percent for Tuesday's trip to Everton, though Leicester are lacking options at every position on the pitch.

Timothy Castagne - Dealing with unknown injury Castagne hasn't been training and is a late test for Saturday's FA Cup match because of an unknown issue, according to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Impact Castagne has started 12 of the team's last 13 matches and had a minor injury a couple weeks ago, so it's possible the busy schedule is bringing up some issues. While it's not serious, Leicester are lacking tons of options and it's more than likely Castagne will be pushed to start at center-back in an upcoming match or three.

Luke Thomas - Out for Cup match Thomas will miss Saturday's FA Cup match with an undisclosed issue, according to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Impact It's unclear what the issue is for Thomas, who has gone a full 90 in each of the team's last three matches. The hope is that it's not serious, as Leicester don't really have any other options. For now, it's assumed he'll be available for Tuesday's trip to Everton.

Boubakary Soumare - Out with illness Soumare is not available for selection because of illness, according to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Impact It doesn't sound like Soumare will be available for Tuesday's trip to Everton, as this is likely COVID-19 related. Then again, he could've tested positive a week ago. But at this point, it's best to assume the worst for Leicester with Soumare another likely absence against Everton.

Patson Daka - Hopeful to return next weekend Daka (hamstring) is hopeful to return for the Jan. 15 trip to Burnley, according to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Impact Rodgers seems to be optimistic with a lot of his short-term injuries, as he's simply hoping guys will be back next week from hamstring injuries. Even if Daka is ready next weekend, it's hard to see him starting after three weeks out with a hamstring injury.

James Michael Justin - Set for minutes next week Justin (knee) is set to play with the development squad next week and could be available to the senior squad shortly, according to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Impact While this is a positive update on Justin, he hasn't played in close to a year, so he's going to need time. If all goes well, he'll make the bench in an upcoming contest, but it's hard to see him starting before the international break.

Ryan Bertrand - Still dealing with knee injury Bertrand is not ready to return and needs his knee looked at by a specialist, according to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Impact Bertrand hasn't been a major factor this season, but bodies are needed by Leicester. At this point, Bertrand could be back in a couple weeks or a couple months. It's an unfortunate situation and either way, he's set to miss the next few matches for Leicester.

Caglar Soyuncu - Hopeful to return next week Soyuncu (hamstring) is hopeful to return for the Jan. 15 contest, according to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Impact Rodgers may be looking on the optimistic side of things because he's almost out of center-backs at this point. Soyuncu will hope to return for the Jan. 15 match, but it's never a good idea to return too soon from a hamstring injury.

Jonny Evans - Out after hamstring surgery Evans underwent surgery on his hamstring and will be out until April, confirmed managed Brendan Rodgers.

Impact It's another downer update for Leicester and especially Evans, who was recently back from his plantar fasciitis issues. Leicester's back line has some massive absences and there's a chance they bring someone else in this transfer window, especially given the update on Evans.

Jamie Vardy - Out until March Vardy is set to be out until March with a hamstring injury, confirmed manager Brendan Rodgers.

Impact This is not the update Leicester fans were hoping for, especially with Kelechi Iheanacho away at AFCON and Patson Daka also injured. They'll have some questions over the next couple weeks and Rodgers will try his best to fill the prolonged absence of Vardy up top.

Wilfred Ndidi - On international duty Ndidi will be with Nigeria for the Africa Cup of Nations and will miss Leicester City's next three matches, at minimum.

Impact Ndidi has been a mainstay in the starting XI for the club this season, including featuring in nine of the club's last 10 contests. In those outings, the defensive midfielder generated one goal on 10 shots (three on target), 39 tackles and 22 clearances. Given his more defensive role, Ndidi's absence may not significantly impact fantasy players though it will stretch an already thin Foxes squad.

Daniel Amartey - Playing for Nigeria Amartey will miss Leicester City's next three matches, at a minimum, while away on international duty for AFCON with Nigeria.

Impact Amartey's absence will stretch an already thin backline for Foxes considering James Justin (knee), Caglar Soyuncu and Ricardo Pereira (leg) are all dealing with injuries. In 10 domestic appearances (nine starts), Amartey has generated 29 clearances 11 interceptions and seven tackles. Given his limited offensive upside, few fantasy players should be significantly impacted while Amartey is away from the squad.

Kelechi Iheanacho - Playing in AFCON Iheanacho will link up with Nigeria for the Africa Cup on Nations and won't be available for Leicester City's next three contests.

Impact With Foxes already dealing with injuries to Jamie Vardy (hamstring) and Patson Daka (hamstring), they suddenly find themselves very thin in terms of attacking options. Until Iheanacho returns from international duty, Ademola Lookman could be an option up top.
