Cody Gakpo - Scores in win over Poland Gakpo scored one goal to go with five shots (two on goal), five crosses (two accurate) and three chances created in Sunday's 2-1 win against Poland.

Impact Gakpo bagged the first goal for the Dutch side with a rocket from outside the box, although to be fair, the shot took a deflection that left Wojciech Szczesny helpless. Gakpo is expected to remain in the starting lineup to face France on Friday.

Andy Robertson - Eight crosses, four accurate Robertson logged eight crosses (four accurate) and created three chances during during Scotland's 1-1 draw Wednesday against Switzerland.

Impact After beginning his Euro 2024 poorly against tournament host Germany, Robertson got back on track offensively Wednesday. Despite not logging any assists, he was noticeably more active and accurate with his passes, a level of improvement Scotland will want to continue across the tourney, especially Sunday.

Ben Doak - Withdrawn from Euros Doak (knee) withdrew from the Scotland squad due to injury, Liverpool announced.

Impact Doak's call up to the Scottish team was always speculative at best as he had been sidelined for six months due to a knee injury. The forward has now officially withdrawn from the squad. Doak being called up is a good sign that his recovery has progressed well though, as he targets a return ahead of the 2024/25 Premier League.

Joe Gomez - Busy in versatile role Gomez made 32 appearances (17 starts) in a variety of roles during the Premier League.

Impact Gomez was perhaps the most important part of Liverpool's squad throughout the season, as he filled in at right-back, left-back and center-back. The defender was excellent in all three roles and earned a call up back into the England squad after showing this level. The issue for Gomez is that while he was excellent in all those roles, it's tough to see him taking the starting job anywhere in the backline moving forward.

Ibrahima Konate - Falls out of favor Konate made 22 appearances (17 starts) during the Premier League.

Impact Konate was the presumptive starter, especially once Joel Matip went down for the season with a knee injury. While Konate did see plenty of minutes he never made the starting job his own as Jarell Quansah surprisingly took over a partnership with Virgil van Dijk. The talent is clearly there for Konate, it's just a matter of earning the starting job.

Curtis Jones - Mixed role Jones scored and assisted once during 23 appearances (14 starts) in the Premier League.

Impact Jones has played about the same role during four seasons with Liverpool, and it seems he's set for that role moving forward. The signing of Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo added even more competition for Jones in the coming seasons. Still the midfielder showed some good form when fit, and could compete for a larger role under new manager Arne Slot.

Wataru Endo - Immediate impact Endo made 29 appearances (20 starts) for Liverpool during the Premier League.

Impact Endo switched to Liverpool after a high profile miss on Moises Caicedo, and Endo proved to be a shrewd signing. The veteran defensive midfielder immediately took on a large role, playing 1,718 minutes in the Premier League and adding a defensive rigidity to the unit. Endo's long-term future is uncertain especially on the wrong side of 30, and he isn't going to do as much offensively with Liverpool as he did with Stuttgart.

Darwin Nunez - Ends on bench Nunez scored 11 times and added eight assists during the Premier League.

Impact Nunez was the preferred option for a large portion of the season, and statistically he was the best of Liverpool's strikers. The issue is the same as it has been for two years with Nunez, his finishing, he scored 18 goals across the season, but he could have had 30 with better finishing. New boss Arne Slot is reportedly a fan of Nunez, so there's some reason for optimism for the maligned striker.

Ryan Gravenberch - Still adjusting Gravenberch made 26 appearances (12 starts) and scored once in the 2023/24 Premier League.

Impact Gravenberch was a late addition to the squad and was always going to face an uphill battle for playing time. While he didn't break into the starting XI, Gravenberch did see a solid role, playing 1,000 minutes for the first time since leaving Ajax. The midfielder is now looking towards 2024/25 under new boss Arne Slot, as he continues to look for starting minutes.

Dominik Szoboszlai - Starts hot Szoboszlai scored three goals and assisted twice in 33 appearances (25 starts) in the Premier League.

Impact Szoboszlai was a brilliant option early in the season before essentially falling off a cliff in the closing stages. Still he figures to be a part of the starting XI for the foreseeable future, even if he didn't continue his red-hot start. Szoboszlai did create 56 chances, so there was potential for more more assists with better finishing around him.

Luis Diaz - Best season yet Diaz scored eight goals and added five assists during 37 appearances (32 starts.)

Impact Diaz set new highs for his time in Liverpool in nearly every metric, but still with the amount of minutes he played it was a disappointing campaign. The winger isn't a bad player by any means, but he just hasn't lived up to the hype. The question moving forward will be if new boss Arne Slot considers him the long-term solution at left wing.

Conor Bradley - Impresses in minor chance Bradley scored once and added three assists this season in the Premier League.

Impact Bradley got a chance in the starting XI due to injuries to Trent Alexander-Arnold, and he impressed in a big way. The defender was brilliant the moment he stepped into the starting XI, mustering a goal and six assists across all competitions. Bradley could be the long-term answer at right-back if Alexander-Arnold moves into midfield.
