Curtis Jones - Mixed role Jones scored and assisted once during 23 appearances (14 starts) in the Premier League.

Impact Jones has played about the same role during four seasons with Liverpool, and it seems he's set for that role moving forward. The signing of Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo added even more competition for Jones in the coming seasons. Still the midfielder showed some good form when fit, and could compete for a larger role under new manager Arne Slot.

Wataru Endo - Immediate impact Endo made 29 appearances (20 starts) for Liverpool during the Premier League.

Impact Endo switched to Liverpool after a high profile miss on Moises Caicedo, and Endo proved to be a shrewd signing. The veteran defensive midfielder immediately took on a large role, playing 1,718 minutes in the Premier League and adding a defensive rigidity to the unit. Endo's long-term future is uncertain especially on the wrong side of 30, and he isn't going to do as much offensively with Liverpool as he did with Stuttgart.

Darwin Nunez - Ends on bench Nunez scored 11 times and added eight assists during the Premier League.

Impact Nunez was the preferred option for a large portion of the season, and statistically he was the best of Liverpool's strikers. The issue is the same as it has been for two years with Nunez, his finishing, he scored 18 goals across the season, but he could have had 30 with better finishing. New boss Arne Slot is reportedly a fan of Nunez, so there's some reason for optimism for the maligned striker.

Ryan Gravenberch - Still adjusting Gravenberch made 26 appearances (12 starts) and scored once in the 2023/24 Premier League.

Impact Gravenberch was a late addition to the squad and was always going to face an uphill battle for playing time. While he didn't break into the starting XI, Gravenberch did see a solid role, playing 1,000 minutes for the first time since leaving Ajax. The midfielder is now looking towards 2024/25 under new boss Arne Slot, as he continues to look for starting minutes.

Dominik Szoboszlai - Starts hot Szoboszlai scored three goals and assisted twice in 33 appearances (25 starts) in the Premier League.

Impact Szoboszlai was a brilliant option early in the season before essentially falling off a cliff in the closing stages. Still he figures to be a part of the starting XI for the foreseeable future, even if he didn't continue his red-hot start. Szoboszlai did create 56 chances, so there was potential for more more assists with better finishing around him.

Luis Diaz - Best season yet Diaz scored eight goals and added five assists during 37 appearances (32 starts.)

Impact Diaz set new highs for his time in Liverpool in nearly every metric, but still with the amount of minutes he played it was a disappointing campaign. The winger isn't a bad player by any means, but he just hasn't lived up to the hype. The question moving forward will be if new boss Arne Slot considers him the long-term solution at left wing.

Conor Bradley - Impresses in minor chance Bradley scored once and added three assists this season in the Premier League.

Impact Bradley got a chance in the starting XI due to injuries to Trent Alexander-Arnold, and he impressed in a big way. The defender was brilliant the moment he stepped into the starting XI, mustering a goal and six assists across all competitions. Bradley could be the long-term answer at right-back if Alexander-Arnold moves into midfield.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - Down year offensively Alexander-Arnold scored three times and assisted four times during the 2024/25 Premier League.

Impact Alexander-Arnold was a consistent starter, as always though he did move into a more midfield role as an inverted wing-back. Injuries slowed him down but overall poor form limited his total output. Still he created 64 chances and maintains a role on set-pieces so Alexander-Arnold should be in for a huge role in the future.

Andy Robertson - Limited by injury Robertson made 23 appearances (18 starts) scoring three times and assisting twice this season.

Impact Robertson was a solid contributor but in the end he was left on the sideline due to injury and when fit he struggled for his usual creativity. The left-back is still the top choice on the left flank heading into 2024/25 and if he can stay fit he'd still be one of the top options in the Premier League.

Diogo Jota - Finishes on bench Jota scored 10 goals and added three assists during 21 appearances (14 starts.)

Impact Jota's role was limited by injury and form but he still reached double-digit goals for the second time in his career. With Liverpool set for a new manager in Arne Slot it's likely there will be a full battle for the starting striker role, leaving Jota's role for the future uncertain.

Impact Alisson had a disappointing season, ending with just eight clean sheets and 30 goals conceded in 28 matches. The positive is he very rarely conceded more than a single goal, but he often lost clean sheets due to defensive lapses. All-in-all a season to forget and bounce back from as Liverpool open a new chapter under new boss Arne Slot.

Virgil Van Dijk - Excellent once more van Dijk recorded five shots (two on goal) in Sunday's 2-0 win over Wolverhampton.

Impact van Dijk is the best defender in England and he showed that with another indomitable campaign in central defense. He played more than 32 matches once more, as he has in all but one season with Liverpool. The center-back also made 142 clearances and 40 tackles while adding a pair of goals and assists and captaining the side.

Cody Gakpo - Five shots in win Gakpo had five shots (one on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 2-0 win versus Wolverhampton.

Impact Gakpo ended the season as the starting striker, scoring twice and assisting one in the final three matches. Throughout the season there was plenty of rotation in the attack but Gakpo will have pole position heading into the off season. He finishes with eight goals and five assists during his first full season with Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah - Seven shots in win Salah registered seven shots (five on goal) and four crosses (zero accurate) in Sunday's 2-0 victory against Wolverhampton.

Impact Salah ended the season out of form, though the wingers standards are so far clear of most other players that a poor season for Salah still meant 18 goals and 10 assists on 66 chances created and 114 shots. Salah isn't getting any younger but his production has hardly slowed as he remains one of the most elite attackers in the Premier League. New manager Arne Slot will have plenty of questions to answer but his starting right winger isn't one.

Harvey Elliott - Assists in finale Elliott assisted once to go with three shots (zero on goal), seven crosses (six accurate) and five corners in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton.

Impact Elliott might be the hardest part of the Liverpool starting XI to project under new manager Arne Slot. The young attacking midfielder made just 11 starts in 2023/24. In that time he provided three goals and six assists, a ridiculously efficient return per minute. That said he is either competing with Alexis Mac Allister or Mohamed Salah for starting minutes and those are two of the best players in the squad. The talent is clearly there for Elliott but his path to playing time remains murky.

Impact Mac Allister may have improved more than any other Liverpool player throughout the season. He was struggling to find his role in the first team in the opening months but by the end of the season he had established himself as perhaps the most important part of the team. His five goals and five assists were his second best offensive return in a season and that was despite taking on a more reserved role than the attacking role he played with Brighton.

Impact Quansah scored during Sunday's win, a rare tally for the young center-back. Liverpool are going to go through some major changes in the coming offseason under new boss Arne Slot, but it seems Quansah has done enough to play some part with the first team, likely as a depth option at center-back.
