Impact LAFC don't do things like other clubs, as they prefer to have their new signings post a video of them in a kit before announcing anything. No matter, Bale is now in MLS where he'll live in Los Angeles. Given what he's done in recent years in Madrid, it's a wonder how much he's going to put into his game. His biggest contributions the last four years were his 11 goals in mostly a bench role for Tottenham last season. Motivation is clearly a factor for how he'll look on the pitch and that's something that will be hard to project. If he wants to be the best player in the league, he could do that, but there's a chance living in Los Angeles won't give him the needed motivation. As with any summer move, he likely won't be available until the July 8 contest.
