Remains out Sunday

Limps off Friday
Beyer (undisclosed) limped off with an injury during the second half of Friday's clash with Manchester City.
Impact
Beyer was forced off in the second half after a heavy tackle left him sprawling. Manuel Benson came on to replace Beyer though he is not a defensive option and was the result of a shift in formation. If Beyer were to miss any amount of time Charlie Taylor would be one option for an increased role in the starting XI. Beyer's first chance to return is an Aug. 19 trip to Luton Town.

ROTOWIRE
On bench against Hoffenheim
Beyer was left on the bench for Saturday's 3-1 win over Hoffenheim.
Impact
Beyer had returned to training during the week and could get back into the starting side soon. He made 15 starts from 17 appearances last season but that was with a back three in the formation, so he may have more work to do before seen in a competitive game.

Training in full
Beyer (undisclosed) returned to team training with Monchengladbach on Wednesday.
Impact
Beyer has recovered from an injury he suffered back in May and is now fully back with the Gladbach squad. It remains uncertain whether he will be fit enough to actually play in Saturday's Bundesliga opener against Hoffenheim, but Marvin Friedrich's (hamstring) likely absence could see him into the XI in central defense if he's able.

Back in training
Beyer (undisclosed) returned to partial training with Monchengladbach on Wednesday.
Impact
Beyer suffered an injury on the penultimate game of last season, but he is making progress with his recovery heading into the start of the next campaign on Aug. 6.

Starts seven of last eight
Beyer started seven of the last eight matches in the Bundesliga on the way to 17 appearances.
Impact
Beyer started the season near the bottom of the depth chart but worked his way up throughout the season, eventually starting seven of the final eight matches. Beyer would have likely played in the final match as well, though a knock kept him out of contention for the finale against Hoffenheim. Beyer's role could be set to grow as Matthias Ginter moves to Freiburg, leaving an opening alongside Nico Elvedi in central defense.

Leaves injured at Frankfurt
Beyer registered two inaccurate crosses, four tackles (two won), six clearances and one block in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Frankfurt.
Impact
Beyer was having a great defensive outing, leading his side in clearances to help them earn the road draw. But the centerback was forced out in the 86th minute with a thigh injury. His status for the season finale against Hoffenheim on Saturday is unclear, but it's likely he will miss the game, and Joe Scally may replace him in the lineup.

Suspended against Stuttgart
Beyer is suspended for Saturday's clash with Stuttgart due to yellow card accumulation.
Impact
Beyer is set to be suspended for Saturday's clash with Stuttgart, giving Gladbach an issue as far as central defenders. It's likely that Ramy Bensebaini will move into central defense, opening a spot for Joe Scally at wing-back. Beyer should be back back in the starting XI against Hertha Berlin.

Resumes individual training
Beyer (undisclosed) returned to individual training during Gladbach's international break training camp.
Impact
Beyer missed training last week and missed Saturday's match with Union Berlin with an undisclosed injury. It appears he is going to try and return immediately after the international break, as the video of him training with the ball is an encouraging sign.

ROTOWIRE
Out once again
Beyer (undisclosed) is out for Saturday's clash with Union Berlin, according to manager Adi Hutter.
Impact
Beyer was never part of the starting XI, and him being injured frankly changes very little for fantasy or real teams. The defender is nothing more than a depth option who helps fulfill homegrown status. Beyer has dealt with a lingering injury that hasn't been specified since December.

ROTOWIRE
On bench against Bayern
Beyer (undisclosed) will be available off the bench versus Bayern Munich on Friday.
Impact
If he gets onto the pitch, it will be the first minutes for Beyer since Oct. 23 against Hertha Berlin. Barring any setbacks, the defender could push for a spot in the starting XI moving forward, though he is far from a lock and figures to offer low-end fantasy value even when he does feature.

ROTOWIRE
Unavailable Saturday
Beyer (undisclosed) is unavailable for Saturday's clash with RB Leipzig, according to manager Adi Hutter.
Impact
Beyer is unavailable Saturday after picking up a training injury during the week. The defender was in no way a fantasy option either way, so this isn't a big change.

ROTOWIRE
Busy defensively
Beyer made five tackles and committed two fouls during Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Augsburg.
Impact
Beyer's five tackles led the team, but he failed to do much to get forward, playing out of position at right-back. The defender has bee relatively quiet to start the season, and unless that changes remains a near-zero value fantasy option. He will be tested fully Saturday, against Dortmund.
