Impact Thomas is yet another player to move away from Leicester City for the season, as he's back in the Premier League. The 22-year-old left-back actually saw a drop in time last season, as the Foxes went through a couple managerial changes. At Sheffield United, he'll fight with Yasser Larouci for minutes, as it appears Max Lowe could be set for surgery and the main reason Thomas is now on their team.

Mostly backup option this season Thomas made 17 Premier League appearances (11 starts) at left-back this season, a decrease in playing time from 2021/22 (22 appearances, 21 starts).

Impact Thomas started six consecutive games from November to January between James Justin's Achilles injury and Victor Kristiansen's winter arrival from Copenhagen, but the 22-year-old Thomas mostly remains Leicester's backup option in the position. He has one year left on his contract as the Foxes move down to the Championship following their relegation.
