Adebayo has been productive this season for the Hatters, bagging nine goals across 23 appearances (13 starts) in league play.

The midfielder was Luton's key set piece man but none of his plays materialized in scoring opportunities. It had been six EPL games since he last found the net or provided an assist.

Teden Mengi - Starting Wednesday Mengi (hamstring) is in the starting XI for Wednesday's clash with Bournemouth.

Impact Mengi was reportedly expected to play Wednesday according to everything manager Rob Edwards said and now he is straight into the starting XI. The defender fills in for Amari'i Bell (hamstring) who has now been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Impact Adebayo is still going to have to wait on a return, now missing his fifth straight match due to a hamstring issue. There was a slight chance he could be available for this match last week, but after testing, it appears he was not yet ready, looking to get back on the team sheet in the club's next contest. With that being said, he will now eye a return Saturday against Nottingham Forest, which seems to be somewhat likely, with Carlton Morris starting in Adebayo's place once again Wednesday.

Impact Lokanga will miss his third straight match Wednesday, still having yet to recover from a hamstring issue. This will leave Jordan Clark most likely getting the start again in Lokanga's place, as he will now look ahead to Saturday's match against Nottingham for a return to play. However, the club has yet to give much of an update on when the player is expected to return, so there is a chance he will be held out until after the international break.

Impact Bell looks to possibly have played his last minutes of the season, as he just underwent surgery following the hamstring issue he picked up against Aston Villa on March 2. This is just another unfortunate turn of events for the Hatters, as they have now most likely lost a regular starter for the rest of the season while half of their players in the defense still carry injury tags. It has still been yet to be confirmed if the defender will return this season, although it is very likely he won't, as with only three months left in the season and a three-month-long recovery process on the horizon, it can be assumed he will be retired for the remainder of the campaign.
