Game started with five crosses Chang attempted five crosses (zero accurate) and four corners during Real Salt Lake's 1-1 draw Wednesday against the Los Angeles Football Club. He also received a yellow card.

Impact Chang was promoted to Real Salt Lake's starting XI on Wednesday, his first game started since May 30. He logged his season high in crosses by getting five of them across 73 minutes before being substituted out. Unless the team needs reinforcements elsewhere, Chang is not expected to remain part of its starting XI at Colorado on Saturday because Andres Gomez has officially served his one-game suspension.

Impact Chang was questionable prior to this game, although he wasn't expected to get heavily involved anyway. Extends contract with Salt Lake Chang has signed a one-year contract extension with Real Salt Lake, the club announced Thursday.

Impact Chang has scored five goals with nine assists across 83 MLS appearances (51 starts) during his three senior campaigns with RSL, and he finally held down a consistent starting spot on the right wing in 2022. The 31-year-old has now signed on for another season with the club, but it will be a challenge for him to maintain that spot in the XI over new signings like Andres Gomez and Danny Musovski, as well as returning players such as Jefferson Savarino and Damir Kreilach (back).
