Impact The club has not said anything regarding the injury, but it wouldn't be shocking if he suffered a severe injury, with the defender leaving the game on a stretcher and under clear pain. Giovanni Gonzalez replaced him in the 45th minute and will likely play as a center-back despite being a right-back by trait.

But by playing more yet starting less, it has proven that while Sanchez may be an admirable option, the team will not need him if Pablo Maffeo is available for its right flank in future matchups.

Impact Compared to some of his previous seasons, Baba logged the same amount of clearances and blocks. If there is some concern with him, it is that he has suffered a steep decline in interceptions since debuting for Mallorca. But aside from that, Baba's best attributes were as a defense-based central midfielder, a role he is expected to maintain while with Mallorca.

And if it were not for a knee injury that stunted Gonzalez's 2022-23 campaign, he could have played much more. With that in mind, Gonzalez will be worth watching heading into the 2023-24 La Liga.

Impact For the third time across his last four La Liga seasons, Costa logged only one assist. Unfortunately for him, he was unable to replicate his four-assist campaign from the 2021-22 La Liga. Yet, it was not without trial and effort though. Costa created more chances and attempted more crosses compared to his 2021-22 season. However, only one of Costa's teammates (Vedat Muriqi) was able to finish chances provided by him.

Impact In his last start before the 2022-23 La Liga ended, Raillo gave what can be considered a perfect game log. He finished this season with 157 clearances, 31 interceptions and 29 blocks across 31 appearances, all starts. Compared to Raillo's first Mallorca campaign, his latest season ultimately proved to be the best of his career so far.

Impact Despite attempting more tackles, Valjent logged fewer clearances and interceptions compared to his 2021-22 La Liga season. The decreases could be attributed to fewer opportunities though, as Valjent played six less games this season. But despite what should be considered a downgrade season, Valjent remained one of Mallorca's preferred central defenders and is expected to continue being a regular fixture in that team's starting XI.
